President and Chief Executive Officer
As one of the primary founders of ARQ, Kunal Hinduja serves as president and chief executive officer for the company. With more than a decade of experience in the radio frequency (RF) engineering industry, Kunal is a driving force behind ARQ’s commitment to cost effectively designing, deploying and managing technology-driven, high-value DAS and mobile wireless network solutions to a variety of customers. In his position, he is responsible for the sales and growth of all markets for ARQ.
Prior to founding ARQ in 2004, Kunal held various executive positions at national and international companies including his role as regional IT director at Williams Lea, an international Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firm. Leaving the stability of this corporate position, he launched Sun IT Services, an IT company serving businesses in Southern California. Due in large part to his vision and expertise, he quickly secured a contract with T-Mobile thus expanding Sun IT Services to support clients throughout the Western states and then nationwide. The company quickly evolved into what is today ARQ, a global leader in the industry.
He is often sought out to speak on industry panels. His vast industry experience has earned him the trust and respect of colleagues and dignitaries alike as he recently was presented to the King of Jordan during his panel presentation at the ITC Conference in the Middle East.
Kunal Hinduja has two Bachelor of Science degrees in computer science and engineering from California State University Long Beach.
A co-founder of ARQ, Jawan Salman serves as vice president of engineering and technology. In this role, he is the strategic director for the company’s vision and ultimately provides day-to-day leadership in the areas of technology and engineering for all projects. A primary customer interface on the technology side of each account, Jawan is directly involved in all aspects of a project from initial cost and bid, through design and deployment.
With more than sixteen years of experience in the telecommunications industry, he has worked with numerous wireless service providers and infrastructure vendors of various networks worldwide. In his earliest experiences in the service department of Comarco, a leading mobile wireless communications products company, Jawan grew the services division from start up to $15 million in sales. As a consultant for Lucent Technology for six years, he traveled the globe assisting in the development, deployment and optimization of networks and contributed to the successful launch of the Sprint network in New York.
He has a Masters of Engineering Management from California State University Long Beach, as well as a Masters of Business Administration from New York University.
VP of Wireless Services
As Vice President of Wireless Services, Daniel is responsible for the management of all RF engineering services at ARQ. He leads his team in all matters related to the design, project management, testing, commissioning, and deployment of all indoor/outdoor DAS, DRAN and Small Cell projects. Not only is he a key component in the growth and success of the Company, he also serves as the technical liaison between engineering, sales, and operations. Daniel’s goal is to ensure that ARQ exceeds customer expectations at every level on every project. He works diligently to understand the customers’ needs and budget, and guarantees that ARQ successfully completes projects with its strong commitment to professionalism and quality.
Daniel has held various positions in the telecommunications field and has over 20 years of experience working for companies such as Nortel, NCR, Comarco Wireless Technologies, T-Mobile, and TE Connectivity all over the United States and Canada. His vast experience brings knowledge from the fields of Information Technology and Networking, Software Engineering, Embedded Electronics, and RF Engineering. Prior to joining ARQ, Daniel held the position of Senior RF Manager during his 8 years at T-Mobile. He also successfully led a $10 million Distributed Antenna System (DAS) project deployment for Verizon while at TE Connectivity. Daniel has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering with an Option in Management Sciences from Canada’s top engineering university, the University of Waterloo, located in Ontario, Canada.
Chief Financial Officer
Serving as chief financial officer for ARQ, Arjun Dua is responsible for the daily oversight and management of all aspects relating to the financial functions of the global company. In addition, he serves on the management team as a key advisor, providing his expertise and insight on strategic, operational and business matters.
Arjun brings more than 25 years of broad based business and financial experience to ARQ, having held a variety of senior management positions with diverse companies from start-ups to leading Fortune 500 businesses in a variety of industries including technology. Highly accomplished in his ability to streamline business operations and improve controls and processes which drive efficiency and profitability, his progressive and diverse experience includes all aspects of finance including: mergers and acquisitions (M&A), investor relations and raising capital, business process analysis and re-engineering, information systems (IT), strategic planning and growth strategy development, staff training, strategic partner alliances and risk management.
Prior to joining the management team at ARQ, Arjun served as chief financial officer at Takeya USA Corp., an innovative consumer hardware products company selling to OEM accounts and major retail chains in the U.S. and internationally. Working in tandem with the founder of the start-up, Arjun was instrumental in the successful development of the operational infrastructure of the company. Directly responsible for all accounting, finance, HR, IT and operations, his business acumen and experience played a central role in the rapid growth of the company from start-up to generating $12M in sales in less than three years.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in commerce and economics from St. Xavier’s College and earned his Masters of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Arjun also is a Certified Public Accountant.
Vice President of Business Development
As Vice President of Business Development, David Pandoria is responsible for the growth of ARQ’s global business in engineering services, turnkey integration and client expansion. His leadership, deep industry insight and strong customer relationships have established him as a leader in the wireless industry.
David has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including engineering and sales. He started his career as a drive tester for Bell Atlantic Mobile and later thrived as a Systems Engineer with Motorola where he launched and managed several different CDMA networks, including Bell Atlantic Mobile (Now Verizon Wireless), Sprint, 360 Communications, Horizon PCS and GTE Wireless. As a Senior Engineering Consultant, he designed, optimized and maintained the networks for GTE Wireless, T-Mobile and AWS. He had also served as the Regional Engineer for the Northeast and Southeast Regions at Cingular (Now AT&T), where his main role was to help implement new features, conduct trials with the OEM vendor and oversee their market rollout.
Gradually, David transitioned from the Radio Frequency Engineering side of the business into Sales. Prior to joining ARQ, he held various business development positions with Marconi, Ericsson, Aircom, Nexius, Solutelia and Xceed and developed an extensive portfolio of clients all over North America.
David holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
